Death of a Thing
A downloadable game
This game was developed using the MonoGame framework. This is the same tool that made games like "Celeste" and "Stardew Valley". It is a bare bones framework that allows developers like me to have complete control over our code. All the physics, gameplay, and user interface was developed from scratch. I even made the map building algorithm myself!
The music is made by one of my closest chums. This project was developed for Jacksepticeye's GameJam, and even though this duo is missing a designer, we're hoping the game can still be a stand out.
The goal is to platform your way to the top of the procedurally generated map!
Use the [A] and [D] keys to move. You have skill and they can be swapped around with the ARROW keys.
To use a skill, you need to be holding down [LSHIFT]
The player has unlimited uses of double jumps [SPACE] and the first skill: BREAK. Which allows you to destroy the block you jump into
You are also being chased by these black cubes which will weigh you down and make actions slower

Install instructions
Download, unzip, and run exe/application. Your computer will most like give you a virus warning, but that is because it is a published Visual Studio project. Pls trust me, this is my passion ;]
